The high-resolution product inspection system SPECTRA HR is used for quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry. Utilizing 3CCD-cameras, it offers extraordinarily high color separation which enables the safe fulfillment of tasks involving challenging color and contrast conditions. In combination with the largest software package, it provides unique inspection parameters and options. Spectra 3D provides a high-resolution, laser-based image processing system for inspecting geometry of packaging material and products for distortions, dents, and other defects where traditional 2D vision inspection is not successful. The system uses a laser to scan objects and the resulting image is captured by a high-resolution 3D line camera. The image is then processed, digitized, and evaluated.
