Facilities Manager 


Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain buildings, equipment and the grounds of Pharmaworks’ properties in Odessa.
  • Organize and carry out preventive and predictive maintenance on plant infrastructure  equipment, plant production equipment and company vehicles. Maintain maintenance records.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems by identifying and fixing the root cause of the problem.
  • Liaise with contractors and service providers on Facilities and equipment maintenance,  issues, upgrades, and purchases.
  • Carry out Facilities projects, mechanical, electrical, and building.
  • Maintain the company grounds.
  • Manage maintenance inventory and purchase of replacement parts as necessary.
  • Identify, requisition, and purchase parts as necessary for facilities and grounds maintenance.
  • Assist with movement of machines and equipment around the facilities.
  • Assist in other areas of the company, as required, limited only by skills and experience.
  • Provide supervision to a Facilities Assistant.
  • Assign tasks, delegate responsibility, and oversee work hours for Facilities Assistant.


Job Requirements 
  • High School Diploma or GED, Associate Degree or equivalent desired.
  • Licensed Electrician State of Florida.
  • Formal training and experience maintaining 2 ton through 20 ton HVAC systems.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a plant maintenance role with responsibility for facilities and equipment.
  • Knowledgeable about plant electrical distribution, compressed air distribution, HVAC, Plumbing, Security, and Fire alarm systems and ground sprinkler systems.
  • Ability to undertake small to medium sized infrastructure building, electrical, pneumatic or mechanical projects.
  • Good problem solving/troubleshooting skills gained through both formal training and practical experience.
  • Ability to drive a fork lift truck and a truck and heavy duty trailer.
  • Good computer skills, primarily Microsoft office. Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD would be an advantage.
  • Work as part of a team and the need to be flexible.
  • The ability to work in an organized manner and be able to cope with pressure on occasions.
  • Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with employees at all levels within the company.
  • The physical strength to be able to handle weights of up to 56 lbs.
  • Be prepared to work overtime when required.
  • Assist with tasks in other parts of the plant, as required.
