Recruiting Coordinator (Part-Time) 

Reports to:

This position reports to the CFO.  This position will interface closely with staff, senior management, and the hiring managers of the Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Machine Shop departments.

 

Job Purpose:

The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for candidate sourcing & screening in a multi-Product Production environment of an Industrial automation machinery manufacturer.  Activities will be reviewing resumes/applications, conducting phone and or onsite interviews, coordinating interviews with hiring manager and or upper management.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Uses the ADP Workforce Now Applicant Tracking Cloud based software for reviewing and acting on submitted applications.
  • Reads and sorts cover letters/resumes.
  • Contacts prospective employees.
  • Schedules interviews with candidates and or hiring managers.
  • Conducts phone and or face-to-face interviews with candidates to assess their qualifications.
  • Maintains records of interviews and potential hires.
  • Works with HR department to negotiate salary/benefits for preparation of offer letters.
  • Works with HR department to ensure an accurate hand-off of new hire information for the onboarding process.
  • Maintains relationships with outside hiring agencies for certain high-skilled positions.
  • Utilizes social media when necessary to recruit high-skilled positions.

 

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of a 2 year Associates Degree in a related field of study.
  • Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a recruitment or human resources role.  
  • Must have strong communication and writing skills, the ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills. 
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
